The Constipated Gardener

Alright, I changed my mind about the new Pet Society gardens. I like them. I like how you can see the flowers and trees grow. It’s perfect for me, because I’m horrible with plants in real life. I don’t have a green thumb, but a black one. One touch and it’s bye-bye for the plant. But here in Pet Society, my garden looks healthy and vibrant.

As my pet tends to his garden, he’s still waiting for his first golden poo. After seven months, he has only gotten brown poo, making him feel like he’s just an ordinary pet capable of only ordinary poops. I’ve been keeping his hygiene levels low, so he’s constipated and tired as he waits, and waits.

A couple tips:

  • Don’t remove a tree unless you are absolutely sure you don’t want it any more. It disappears forever, and does not get placed to another spot in the house.

  • Flowers, on the other hand, can be safely removed. They land in your chest and you can place them in another room in the house.

i guarantee you, when you see that tree all grown up in your garden, and then when it hands out a banana or god forbid, a cupcake, itll be worth it.

I love the garden. I’ve gotten three apples out of my tree already. I sold it them for 65 coins each. I want more trees now. Too bad, I’ve spent most of my cash on windows.

Does the cupcake tree really grow cupcakes? I have had one since the garden was first available and have not gotten anything from it :(

  11. 11 Pet Society Anonymous June 23, 2009 at 9:17 pm

    Hi Quijo,

I have seen cupcakes growing on a friend’s cupcake tree. I think you have to wait several days before the trees grow anything.

    I have a coconut tree…and it’s been there for a while…but it doesn’t grow anything at allllllll :(

  14. 14 Toast June 30, 2009 at 3:17 am

Hey! I’ve grown several trees and I’ve only gotten 2 fruits from them…=/
How many fruits CAN they grow, and how long do I have to leave them in?
And if I wait until all the fruits are grown, will the money from those fruits be more than 500, meaning I MAKE money, rather than losing it like I always do?!
And this is probably dumb, but is there anywhere you can get a cupcake tree, KNOWING it’s a cupcake tree? If not, can I KNOW if my tree is a cupcake tree (without waiting for it to grow cupcakes)??

    • 16 petsocietyanonymous July 5, 2009 at 9:14 pm

      Hi Jeannie,

It takes a few days after the trees have grown for them to bear fruit or cupcakes.

  18. 19 Mimi July 23, 2009 at 1:32 pm

Hi! ummm i was kinda looking for the answer.. how do u get a cupcake tree? :/ do u have to like put a real cupcake in the grown? LOL

    • 20 petsocietyanonymous July 23, 2009 at 2:13 pm

      Hi Mimi,

Like so many other things in Pet Society, this is based on luck. You have to buy a tree seed and plant it. The tree can turn out to be either banana, coconut, apple, orange or cupcake. There’s no way to know when you buy the seed which kind it will be.

  23. 25 diFa August 3, 2009 at 9:37 pm

yummm.. i make a lot of money by selling vegetables.
i let the veggies grow gigantic and then harvest them n sell them..
the money is worth it, i can get up to 3000 coins or more :)

  24. 26 jenny September 7, 2009 at 2:18 pm

have a cherry tree of my very own yeahhhhhh my other trees have done great i have had tons of fruit and sold all of it , ive noticed if you leave the trees till they have 3 fruits on them then pick them, i used to pick one at a time but it took a long time so i wait for 3 pick them and sure enough next day another has grown.

  25. 27 Lilahj September 14, 2009 at 5:56 pm

The homegrown fruit sells for 65 coins each (cherries 85). The vegetables, if you wait till they read “medium” will sell for a minimum of 165 coins. Unless of course they are ‘preprogrammed to be rotten. The text says it is rotten because you leave it too long, but the truth is that seed would have been rotten even if picked on day one. It has happened to me and mine many times. I would say about 1/5 of my veggies are rotten. Very frustrating. Wish I could rake the game creator over the coals for that!!
All in all…I love the gardens!!

  29. 32 Pet Society Anonymous October 7, 2009 at 10:30 pm

    Hi Johny,

The trees will make up to three at a time. Pick the fruit. In a few days, it will make more. I don’t know exactly how long the cupcake tree takes, but I also remember having to be patient. But soon you will have a cupcake and you’ll be really happy to see it!
