After weeks of rumors and speculation, Playfish confirmed today that the company was bought by Electronic Arts, the granddaddy of gaming responsible for The Sims. The price tag was a cool $300 million. Niiice. Congrats to Playfish for the sale. Hopefully, the game will continue to be just as much fun for the rest of us.

I hope PS will never go away… Maybe Playfish will upgrade PS and add it up with the Sims.
i hope EA won’t change the game and make it more expensive for us to play…
I agree with Santiago!
hola
yea,,,,hope EA won’t make EVERYTHING can be only purchased by cash.
I hope pet society can be a downloadable game, just like sims. Oh, and you can walk your pet and your pet can have a baby! How cute is that?
hope that sims would be an online game in facebook
Reallly playfish is worth that much???:D
Duh, EA games is not a social games. Hey, the picture of the pet driving a robot is funny! (Looks like sushi and bluegess riding a crazy planets robot). Hahahahaha
I swear, EA better leave Pet Society alone! If they get rid of it, I’m going to cry! Oh, I’m scared! They’ve already gotten rid of the windows, too… Oh man, if EA messes up Pet Society, I’m never going to purchase any of their games again.
